I love peaches. What you see in this work are two peach boxes. I chose carefully, primed them, and got to work. After thinking I was going to build a sequence piece, using the flow to speak to that, I stepped back and the painting revealed itself to me. These weren’t in sequence, they were twins, same colors, same elements, the same parents, but slightly different. Fraternal twins.
